Die Kraken Amps wurden in Zusammenarbeit mit dem von YouTube bekannten Gitarristen Rabea Massaad entwickelt und stehen im Victory Portfolio für viel Gain und decken jegliche Bedürfnisse in härteren Genres ab. Dazu stehen zwei Kanäle zur Verfügung, von denen ersterer klassische britische Verzerrung liefert, während der zweite Channel von amerikanischen High Gain Amps inspiriert ist.
Der Ausgangspunkt der Kraken Serie ist das Lunchbox Topteil VX The Kraken, das mit 50 Watt Leistung jeder Probe-, Live- und Studio-Situation gewachsen ist, aber dank seiner kompakten Maße beispielsweise im Flugzeug als Handgepäck transportiert werden kann. Für stillere Anwendungen kann der Amp aber auch mit 9 Watt oder sogar knapp unter 2 Watt betrieben werden, was Übungssessions im heimischen Wohnzimmer ermöglicht. Der Betrieb ist wahlweise mit EL34 oder 6L6 Röhren möglich, dadurch lässt sich die Grundcharakteristik des Verstärkers je nach Geschmack in britische oder amerikanische Richtung lenken.
Wer den Kraken vollends entfesseln möchte, ist mit dem VX The Super Kraken und seinen erbarmungslosen 100 Watt Leistung gut beraten. Hier lässt sich im ersten Channel zusätzlich zwischen Clean und Crunch umschalten. Außerdem zur Verfügung stehen ein Preamp Focus sowie ein Bass Focus. Alle Funktionen lassen sich auch über MIDI schalten.
Für platzsparende und mobile Setups gibt es den V4 Kraken als kompakten Preamp oder direkt mit Endstufe und TwoNotes Cab-Simulation als Pedalboard-Amp. Der V1 Kraken liefert die Zerr- und Klangcharakteristik der Kraken-Reihe im klassischen Bodentreter-Format zur Nutzung mit deinem Amp.
