Three switches and six knobs enable quick operation. The emulation of a room reverb pleasantly enriches the direct signal. The Woodrow delivers an astonishingly realistic replica of the original - including authentic sound, convincing dynamics and realistic playing feel. The stereo line out signal can be used directly for recording or live. controls for room, tone and boost give the sound its characteristics. The sound can be precisely controlled with Inst Vol, Mic Vol and output .

DSP power in the pedal

The Universal Audio UAFX Woodrow '55 emulates the glorious American tube amplifier from the 1950s. A model from 1955 has been precisely recreated in this pedal, including the two adjustable inputs. There are also fat boost circuits and a coordinated loudspeaker simulation. In addition to the American standard equipment, the pedal also offers a JP12 and GB25 Cab replica. stereo ins and outs as well as app connectivity like the other two UAFX amp pedals are also available.

About Universal Audio

Pioneer in audio recordings for more than 50 years

Founded in 1958 by Bill Putnam Sr., Universal Audio has always been synonymous with   innovative recording equipment . A favorite engineer of Frank Sinatra, Nat King Cole, Ray Charles and others, Bill was a passionate innovator who is considered the Vater of modern audio recording. Many of his legendary studio and equipment designs are still used today. B. Putnam was the inventor of the modern   Sound console , des   Multiband audio equalizer   and he was the first engineer to   artificial reverberation   used in commercial recordings. Alongside his friend Les Paul, Bill was also involved in the early development of stereophonic recording.
Putnam, known as a busy entrepreneur, founded three audio product companies during his long career:   Universal Audio ,   Studio Electronics   and   Urei . All three companies built equipment that was widely used upon introduction and would shape studio sound for generations. The boutique compressors LA-2A and 1176 and the 610 tube console are among these legends. With the 610 mixing console, greats like...   Sinatra , the   Beach Boys   and   Van Halen   their studio albums.
Universal Audio was re-founded in 1999 by Bill's sons James Putnam and Bill Putnam Jr. A twofold approach was planned: On the one hand, the classic analogue recording devices were to be faithfully reproduced in the tradition of his father; and on the other hand, the sound and spirit of Vintage analog technology should be in the   new digital recording tools   are used.
