Hall processor from Universal Audio

The Universal Audio UAFX Golden Reverberator is an elegant reverb in a high-quality pedal enclosure.

Glorious halls

The Reverberator is a compact pedal that focuses on a fine selection of proven reverb effects. In this effect, Universal Audio uses the same component-based modeling algorithms that are already used in the manufacturer's DSP plug-ins in recording studios worldwide. Three authentically simulated reverb effect types can be accessed with the pedal: Spring 65, Plate 140 and Hall 224. The models are a spring reverb with a tube stage , the EMT140 reverb plate and the reverb algorithm from the Lexicon 224 . When registering the pedal, the Lexicon 224's chamber and plate algorithms are also available. The Reverberator offers three variations and one storage space for each effect type.

DSP power in the pedal

In contrast to the plugins, the Golden Reverberator does not require computer control, but has a directly accessible user interface with six high-quality controls, three miniature switches and two foot switches. Bass, treble and mod can be controlled directly on the pedal. Fine adjustments are made using the Decay, Predelay and Mix controls . A dual-core signal processor and efficient modeling code ensure the excellent-sounding reverb algorithms. Settings can be saved, loaded and shared with the community worldwide via an app connection. For efficient wiring , as with all pedals from the UAFX series, the stereo inputs and outputs are located on the head side.

About Universal Audio

Pioneer in audio recordings for more than 50 years

Founded in 1958 by Bill Putnam Sr., Universal Audio has always been synonymous with   innovative recording equipment . A favorite engineer of Frank Sinatra, Nat King Cole, Ray Charles and others, Bill was a passionate innovator who is considered the Vater of modern audio recording. Many of his legendary studio and equipment designs are still used today. B. Putnam was the inventor of the modern   Sound console , des   Multiband audio equalizer   and he was the first engineer to   artificial reverberation   used in commercial recordings. Alongside his friend Les Paul, Bill was also involved in the early development of stereophonic recording.
Putnam, known as a busy entrepreneur, founded three audio product companies during his long career:   Universal Audio ,   Studio Electronics   and   Urei . All three companies built equipment that was widely used upon introduction and would shape studio sound for generations. The boutique compressors LA-2A and 1176 and the 610 tube console are among these legends. With the 610 mixing console, greats like...   Sinatra , the   Beach Boys   and   Van Halen   their studio albums.
Universal Audio was re-founded in 1999 by Bill's sons James Putnam and Bill Putnam Jr. A twofold approach was planned: On the one hand, the classic analogue recording devices were to be faithfully reproduced in the tradition of his father; and on the other hand, the sound and spirit of Vintage analog technology should be in the   new digital recording tools   are used.

Impressive effects pedals for guitarists and special guitar recording tools such as the Universal Audio OX are now also part of the range and are extremely popular with fans of outstanding sound.
