The Rode NTG2 is a lightweight condenser shotgun microphone that was specifically manufactured for professional applications in film, video and television. The Rode NTG2 has a symmetrical (low-impedance) output and works with a standard 1.5 V battery (AA) or via 48 v phantom power. The broad response and controlled pickup pattern of the Rode NTG-2 paired with the low noise SMT electronics make it perfect for film, video engineering and voice-over tasks. The Rode NTG2 is extremely light, which makes it easy to attach to video cameras or long microphone arms (boom poles). Rode NTG2:
