The Rode SmartLav+ is a professional, portable microphone with Kevlar-reinforced TRRS connection cable designed for film, television and broadcasting, as well as other situations where discreet but professional audio recording is required. It turns any iOS device into a full-fledged cell phone recorder. You attach the microphone to the person and connect it to the headset socket on a smartphone or tablet. You can record with either the Rode Rec app for iOS or any other audio app. Thanks to its omnidirectional characteristic, the SmartLav+ records the sound all around and completely equally.
