Eine digitale Hochleistungs-Endstufe simuliert Headroom und Dynamikspektrum des echten Röhrenamps. In Verbindung mit einem Celestion Lautsprecher und dem hinten geschlossenen Sperrholzgehäuse entsteht ein überzeugend authentischer EVH Ton, der an Dichte, Lautstärke und Dynamik praktisch nicht vom Vollröhren-Original zu unterscheiden ist.
Im Gegensatz zur Vollröhrenversion wiegt der 5150III Hypersonic Combo erfreulich wenig. Gleichzeitig bietet er mehr Möglichkeiten zur Klanggestaltung mit konzentrischen EQ-Reglern für Kanal 1 und 2 und unabhängigen Noise Gate Reglern auf jedem Kanal. Auch der mitgelieferte Fußschalter bietet neue Funktionen, er dient als Wahlschalter für Reverb und Effektloop. Weitere Features: variable Leistungsdämpfung mit Maximalleistung und fünf Attenuator-Stufen, symmetrischer XLR Line-Ausgang mit Impulsantwort (IR) Boxensimulation, Mute-Schalter für Bühne oder Aufnahmen. Die EVH 5150III Hypersonic Amps sind mit schwarzem oder elfenbeinweißem Vinylbezug erhältlich.

Eddie Van Halen, known as one of the most influential guitarists of all time, has created EVH, a brand that reflects his innovative strength and his love of music. Eddie Van Halen stands not only for brilliant and epochal guitar solos, but also for the legendary instruments on which he presented his groundbreaking guitar playing.
