The MIG-50 had a well-deserved reputation for delivering rich tones and sweet harmonies reminiscent of a tweed Fender Bassman®. Our new Electro-Harmonix MIG-50-Haed is a faithful reissue of the original with modern improvements specifically selected to make it "bulletproof". Handcrafted in our New York City factory from the highest quality components sourced from around the world, the build quality is first class. The MIG-50's classic design features two channels , each with independent volume levels. input I is the clean channel, input II sounds like first class bright/high gain . A Vintage-style tone stack provides a set of treble, mid, bass and presence controls that act on both channels . This amp is also particularly suitable for using effects pedals. The combination of the amp sounds as a tonal base for an overdrive or other stompboxes from Electro Harmonix is incomparable and brings unexpected definition to every guitar sound.
