Soldano ASTRO-20 Combo
The ASTRO-20 is a three channel, four "galaxy" combo with built-in 1x12" Celestion loudspeaker that combines an authentic all-tube sound with ideal characteristics for today's modern guitarist. Mike Soldano has designed this sonic powerhouse as a fully featured, versatile 20-watt guitar combo designed.
The ASTRO-20's simple front panel design allows you to store any combination of channels, galaxies and IRs and quickly recall them using the included 4-button midi footswitch . The free downloadable Soldano editor software makes organizing presets and integrating your own IRs quick and easy. Despite its incredible control capabilities, the ASTRO-20 is a straightforward all-tube amplifier powered by two 6V6 power and four 12AX7 pre amp valves .
The clean channel or the Green Galaxy is a high-headroom circuit that is reminiscent of classic American combo amplifier . It allows for crystal clear to slightly pressed, crisp sounds, adjusted with a single Tone controls and a 3-way Bright switches . overdrive 1 and overdrive 2 feature independent volume and gain control with a shared 3-band EQ. The blue, purple and red galaxies can be assigned independently to each of the overdrive channels via the Galaxy selector switch.
The Blue Galaxy ranges from bluesy cleans to fat and lively hard rock sounds. The Purple Galaxy picks up where the Blue leaves off, delivering more gain and a harder response. The Red Galaxy takes you on a journey inspired by Soldano's iconic lead sounds and will transport you to a new phenomenal high- gain universe. The Blue, Purple and Red Galaxies can be independently assigned to overdrive 1 or overdrive 2 and saved for immediate recall.
