Exakt nach diesen Vorgaben ist das NUX 6ixty5ive aus der beliebten Reissue-Serie konzipiert. Das Pedal in edlem Brown-Glitter-Finish liefert somit die ebenso druckvollen wie glockigen Sounds der klassischen Black-Panel Röhrenverstärker der 60er Jahre.
Damit ist das 6ixty5ive ein einfach zu handhabender, glasiger Overdrive, der die Eigenschaften der Gitarre mit angenehmen Sustain und einer extrem natürlichen Kompression beibehält. Der Grad der Kompression/Sättigung kann dabei über ein Trim-Poti an der Stirnseite völlig individuell justiert werden. Der Gitarrenton wird durch das Pedal aufgefrischt und die Saiten-Anschläge kommen mit einem lebendigen Schmatzen rüber – dem JRC4558-Op-Amp und einer cleveren Schaltung sei Dank. Außerdem fügt das 6ixty5ive dem Sound eine gut dosierbare Grund-Verzerrung hinzu, die sich hervorragend mit anderen Pedalen kombinieren lässt.
