The Friedman IR-D two-channel tube preamp is a complete Friedman rig in a compact, pedalboard-friendly package. The IR-D features two entirely independent, identical, footswitchable channels based on Friedman's legendary Dirty Shirley and Twin Sister designs. This Dave-modified JTM45 circuit delivers the classic British tone.
Powered by two 12AX7 high-voltage preamp tubes, each channel provides the harmonic richness and pick-attack dynamics of Dave Friedman's best designs. The DSP IR speaker/amp simulation sends a miked, studio-quality tone to your DAW or front-of-house. The IR-D offers easy-to-use controls without complex menus or 100-page manuals.
