With the Hoof Fuzz EarthQuaker Devices took inspiration from the classic 'Russian' Big Muff Pi. The Hoof Germanium/Silicon hybrid fuzz produces a natural, overtone-rich sustain. The tonal range spans from gritty overdrive to monstrous fuzz. The Shift control acts as a 'secret weapon' by changing the frequency response of the Tone control, making hollow-sounding 'scooped-mids fuzz' tones possible as well. The Hoof Fuzz is fully analogue, features True Bypass and is hand-built in Ohio, USA. The Hoof V2 features a silent, relay-based soft-touch footswitch.
