Buy E-Drums at session
E-Drums offer a genuinely space-saving and almost silent alternative to the traditional drum kit. Unlike acoustic kits, the electronic versions are played with drumsticks on rubber-like heads.
In our stores many demo kits are set up and ready to try. You can gain first-hand experience on site and compare products directly. If you've already made up your mind, the session online shop offers a large selection of drum products. If you have questions about a planned purchase, our customer service is happy to help online or by phone. If the desired product is in stock, you can buy it online immediately. Delivery is prompt.
Questions? Our online guide What should I consider when buying an E-drum set? goes into all points again in great detail.
The complete package - an E-Drum set
Many electronic drum kits are offered as a set. If you want to buy such a set, you can choose from a wide range of different model variants and sizes. Besides well-known names like Roland and Yamaha, Alesis and other manufacturers also offer such sets.
Sound modules for E-Drums
Once you've set up the rack and pads for the electronic drum set, the sound module is still required. The cables from the various pads are connected here. Depending on the equipment you can choose between preset sound sets or in-depth sound editing. All E-drum sets are supplied with such a sound module.
Differences in snare pads
As with the acoustic snare drum, there are different sizes. Snare pad heads are available as standard or mesh head versions. Simple snare models have two-zone triggers for the playing surface and rim. The large V-Pad variant from the Roland V-Drums series even comes with a real shell. Its playing surface is high-resolution and has precise positional detection — no longer just simple two-zone trigger technology.
Tom pads
These pads usually have two triggers: one zone for the playing surface and one for the rim sound. The selection ranges from inexpensive, lightweight solid-rubber models to larger models with a small shell.
Cymbal pads
Cymbals can expand your existing set. In our online cymbal-pad category you'll find cymbals in various sizes and numbers of zones.
Hi-hat pads
Whether hi-hat pad or controller pedal, Roland in particular offers a wide range of different products.
Bass drum pads
If you want the look and playing feel of real shell bass drums, you'll find suitable products under bass drum pads.
Accessory number 1: Drumsticks
Without Drumsticks (drumsticks) you can't play a drum kit. As with acoustic kits there are numerous bags and cases for transporting E-Drums. If the available sounds or pads are no longer enough, any drum kit can be expanded, for example with percussion instruments! If you don't want to use headphones and want to play loudly, you can also connect your E-drum set to an external E-drum amplifier .
