The Evans Hybrid Sensory Percussion Sound-System combines the powerful Sunhouse Software with touch-sensitive drum sensors and the Evans Portal Audio-Interface, turning your acoustic drum kit into an expressive controller for digital sounds. The sensors can be easily fixed between two tension rods at the rim (Rim) of the drum or bass drum. They connect to a laptop/computer via the Evans Portal Audio-Interface using four external audio inputs, including 2x XLR Mic/Line combo jacks and 2x 6.3 mm line-ins. Thanks to the advanced software from Sunhouse, vibrations are converted into digital sounds. The sensors can detect up to 10 independent zones per drum.
Each of the different zones can trigger samples and effects and assign MIDI data. Assigning sounds is simple and intuitive via Drag-and-Drop. With the generous and constantly growing library of 6 sound packs, 106 custom sets and 2,363 raw samples, you have a huge variety of sounds to choose from. And if you want, you can feed the software your own sounds and samples and edit them with the extensive range of effects to suit your ideas.

With its extensive functionality and special features, the Evans Hybrid Sensory Percussion Sound-System is aimed at drummers and percussionists who want to expand their acoustic setup. It's not only a creative tool for drummers but is also aimed at beatmakers and producers, allowing them to record bass drum and snare combinations as well as intricate hi-hat figures with the dynamic feel of an acoustic drum kit into common DAWs (digital audio workstations) such as Steinberg Cubase, Apple Logic or Ableton Live. With the improved MIDI features you can easily use unlimited note lengths, adjustable velocity levels and continuous control.

Sensory Percussion 2-Software
The SPv2 software has been rebuilt from the ground up. The Sunhouse Sensory Percussion software offers a range of flexible inputs and outputs, a variety of effects, an ever-growing sound library and extensive possibilities to control sequences, tones, chords, effects and other parameters in real time with your playing.
Drum sensors
The new drum sensors have also been improved. They are smaller, sleeker and more sensitive. The Sensory Percussion sensors are designed to be used with virtually all common snares, toms and bass drums. They connect to the Evans Portal-Interface via 3.5 mm jack cables.
Evans Portal Audio-Interface
The Portal audio interface is already regarded as the ultimate hub for drummers. The interface seamlessly connects sensors and software. It offers seven sensor connections for simple "Plug & Play". In addition, there are 2x XLR Mic/Line combo jacks, 2x 6.3 mm line-ins, 1x ADAT Out, 6x 6.3 mm line outs (2x Main + 4x Aux) as well as 2x Headphone Out (3.5 mm / 6.3 mm). This allows the Portal to be used as a full-featured audio interface for recording or live use.
