Buy sound modules for E-Drums at session

Nothing works without a sound module.

The sound module is a controller and the heart of every E-set. This module is used to select and adjust the available sounds. Technical differences and additional functions vary depending on size and price. Sounds, preset kits, metronome variations, play-along tracks, training programmes or routing functions are all controlled from here.

All E-drum modules feature a headphone output. Most also have a stereo jack output, so you can play loudly through an E-drum amplifier. If the unit has a CD/MP3 mini jack input, you can, for example, jam along to music on your smartphone.

A USB port enables connection to a computer. This lets you, for example, transfer updates — and, on higher-end units, your own sounds — to the sound module. With a MIDI Out port you can control external electronic hardware equipment.

Higher-priced modules offer features such as large displays, additional faders and pots, Bluetooth and more audio outputs. Sounds can also be refined down to the smallest detail and customised to your preferences.
