Dana Bourgeois founded Bourgeois Guitars in 1992 after developing a passion for studying and building quality guitars while attending Bowdoin College in Maine. He built his own guitars in the early 1970s and opened a small shop in Maine in 1977 where he worked as a guitar maker and repairer.
Over the years, Bourgeois Guitars has earned an excellent reputation because the company places great value on true craftsmanship and excellent sound. Only first-class and carefully selected materials are used for the instruments, because quality always comes first.
