The Bourgeois Guitars The Champ 00 Black is a compact acoustic guitar whose sound goes far beyond its body volume. It impresses with a classic tonewood combination of spruce bottom and sinker mahogany back and sides. The top made of American red spruce (Adirondack spruce) contributes to a voluminous sound and has a faster response than you are used to with a Sitka spruce top, for example. The Vintage design of the Bourgeois Guitars The Champ 00 Black is perfectly rounded off by the simple design and the Vintage-style tuning machines . On top of that there is a slim mahogany neck with an ebony fingerboard, which makes playing perfect.

Dana Bourgeois founded Bourgeois Guitars in 1992 after developing a passion for learning and building quality guitars while studying at Bowdoin College in Maine. He built his own guitars in the early 1970s and opened a small shop in Maine in 1977 where he worked as a guitar maker and repairer.
