The tonewood combination delivers a soft, balanced sound with a slight emphasis on the highs. The cutaway makes it easy for you to reach the higher registers of the ebony fingerboard with ease. With the proven LR Baggs Lyric pickup , the Bourgeois Guitars Soloist OM also cuts a fine figure when amplified. Due to its slightly smaller body shape, the OM feels particularly comfortable in fingerstyle playing, but is also suitable for chord playing.

Dana Bourgeois founded Bourgeois Guitars in 1992 after developing a passion for learning and building quality guitars while studying at Bowdoin College in Maine. He built his own guitars in the early 1970s and opened a small shop in Maine in 1977 where he worked as a guitar maker and repairer.
