The only 12-string special edition model
The Taylor Builder's Edition 858ce 50th Anniversary Limited Edition celebrates Taylor's flagship series, pairing solid Indian rosewood back and sides with a solid spruce top. The rich lows, sparkling highs and lush overtones of rosewood complement the cedar-like warmth and powerful projection of redwood, which is further enhanced by Taylor's patented V-Class bracing and 12-string configuration.

WLike all other models in the Taylor 800 series, the 858e also features a Curve Wing bridge for the perfect playing experience. Features of the limited edition include a mother-of-pearl headstock logo and colour-matching element inlays, stylish maple binding around the fingerboard and headstock, an abalone rosette, high-quality gold Gotoh 510 tuners and ebony bridge pins.

The Taylor 858e 50th Anniversary is a universally applicable Grand Auditorium. It features a high-gloss finish on the body and a satin-finished neck and bears a label celebrating the manufacturer's 50th anniversary. Production is limited to 1,974 guitars worldwide, so it's worth being quick!

The 800 series is based on a design by Bob Taylor and has been continuously developed. All body shapes are available, the bottom and sides are made of Indian rosewood combined with a Sitka spruce top . The rosette is adorned with a single ring made of abalone with a rosewood border. Taylor also offers a deluxe version that adds a radius armrest to the instrument , although not in the “Grand Orchestra” body shape.
