Large diaphragm condenser microphone
With the NT2000 from RØDE you get a microphone that is unique in many ways. Mechanically, it impresses with its equally powerful and elegant enclosure, and technically it offers the user a variety of sonic options: on the microphone body, the pickup pattern, the frequency of use of the high-pass filter and the thickness of the pre-attenuation can be continuously adjusted using three - deliberately stiff - rotary controls . This is particularly interesting when good or exceptional sounding recording rooms are available and conscious emphasis is placed on the finest nuances.

When it comes to the pickup pattern , it is above all the intermediate positions that enable special results. For example, if you turn the potentiometer a little from the cardioid towards the ball, you can increase the response angle of the NT2000, and if you turn it towards the figure eight, you can decide precisely how much space should be transferred from the rear. Finally, the tunable high-pass filter allows unwanted sound components to be filtered out before the downstream preamp or the proximity effect to be specifically dosed.

The NT2000 is extremely level stable. Even without pre-attenuation, signals of up to 147 dB are transmitted absolutely flawlessly - ideal for working with loud guitar stacks, drums and of course vocals. Since the inherent noise is sensationally low at 7 dBA, you can record even extremely quiet sound sources with high resolution, interference-free and convincingly.

The NT2000 is delivered in an ABS molded case including an elastic hook (SM2).

About Rode

Rode Microphones was founded in Sydney, Australia in 1967 and is a renowned manufacturer of microphones and accessories. Since the beginning of the 1990s, Rode have established themselves in the home recording and audio sectors with inexpensive microphones. The initial focus was on large diaphragm condenser microphones such as the Rode NT1-A , which has been on the market since 1995. Thanks to the outstanding price-performance ratio and low noise, it is one of the most successful models and is still used by many musicians as their first studio microphone and on numerous recordings. The Rode product portfolio was later expanded to include dynamic microphones and directional microphones and to this day there is at least one Rode microphone in most professional studios.

Of course, Rode Microphones remain in tune with the times and have paid particular attention to the (audio & microphone) needs of the digital age. With the Rode NT- USB and Rode NT- USB Mini they offer microphones with which high-quality sounding voice and vocal recordings can be produced directly via USB connection without an amplifier model . With the Rode Podcaster , PodMic and Procaster you can also find microphones specifically tailored to broadcast and podcasts. Rode are also represented in the video and camera microphone sector with the VideoMic Rycote , VideoMic Pro and VideoMic Me and are popular with many video creators and YouTubers. The small and practical Rode Lavalier clip-on microphones or the wireless Rode Wireless GO system are particularly suitable for interviews and presentations

Of course, you can also get accessories for your Rode microphone from us - from holders and clamps to pop filters and wind protection.
