10.1-inch touchscreen with new user interface
The 10.1-inch touchscreen is the largest ever on a Pioneer DJ all-in-one system , and significantly larger than the 7-inch touchscreen on the XDJ-RX2. It offers a higher resolution of 1280:800 (WXGA) and a higher refresh rate compared to the previous model, so all information is clearly visible, including smoother waveform display. A redesigned interface and several new features make navigation easier - ideal for quickly browsing and mixing tracks with precision. In the browse area, 12 tracks are now displayed instead of 8, so you don't have to scroll as much when looking for the next song. The relevant information for each track is displayed using the icons on the left side of the screen, making category searches much quicker and easier.
Color on-jog display: See track information immediately
The LCD display in the center of each jog wheel shows the player position . The jog wheels now offer a significantly faster response compared to the XDJ-RX2. cover can now also be displayed to make tracks and albums easier to recognize. Using the Feeling Adjust controller, the running resistance of each jog wheel can be adjusted to your own needs.
More Beat FX and sound Color FX: For more texture and more dynamic mixes
The XDJ-RX3 features all of its predecessor's effects as well as six additional Beat FX and two additional sound Color FX. This means that the entire range of effect of the DJM-900NXS2 is available: 14 Beat FX, including Ping Pong, filter, Phaser, Slip Roll, Vinyl Brake and Helix, and six sound Color FX, including Space and Crush.
Release FX: New energy for every performance
With a press of the performance pads you can instantly change the energy of a performance, whether to add more drama to a section of a track or create an exciting moment before switching to another song on the other deck. For example, echo Out or Spin Out are ideal for dynamically fading into the next track. There are eight effects to choose from: Vinyl Brake (short/long), Backspin (short/long), echo Out, Build Up, Mute and Ducking.
Compatible with rekordbox and Serato DJ Pro: Plug & Play
In export mode, the XDJ-RX3 can play music from USB storage media that has been analyzed with rekordbox. Or you can connect a laptop to the XDJ-RX3 and use the link export or performance mode via USB HID control. Since the XDJ-RX3 also functions as a hardware unlock device, performance mode is available free of charge. A paid subscription is not required. This means that all tracks in a rekordbox library can be played and all functions of the Core subscription can be used free of charge as long as there is a connection to the laptop. Plug-and-play for Serato DJ Pro is also included - also free of charge (coming in early 2022).
Natural sound: For authentic-sounding mixes
Since the decks and mixer are built as an integrated unit, there is no sound loss due to audio connection cables. The new board design also eliminates unwanted noise and delivers a finely tuned frequency image with punchy bass and vibrant mids and highs. This results in a very authentic overall sound, allowing the crowd to hear and experience the music exactly as they mixed it
