Peavey hat einen weiteren seiner zahlreichen Klassiker in ein handliches Bodenpedal gepackt: den legendären Session LTD 400 von 1974, ein großer, schwerer Combo speziell für Steel- bzw. Lap Steel Gitarren. Der Session Amp hat sich mit seinem runden, cleanen Grundsound als erste Wahl für "Steeler" entwickelt. Das Pedal ist eine exakte Neuauflage der Preamp Sektion - 3 Band EQ mit Mid Shift ( legt die Mittenfrequenz für den Mid-Cut fest), Presence und schließlich Volume (Gain) und Sens (Master Volume). Wie beim legendären Session Amp wird die Preamp Schaltung mit 25 Volt betrieben (interne Voltage Charge Pump wandelt die Standard 9 Volt DC Spannung )für erweiterten Headroom und Dynamik.
