The Peavey 6505 Mini Head is a miniature version of Peavey's successful 6505 model. The striking sound of its big brother has been packed into a handy 20 watt top. 2 channels with 3-band EQ are available, the power amplifier output can be switched down to 1 watt suitable for rental flats. The small amp is ideal for recording applications: the speaker output can be switched off, a balanced XLR output with speaker simulation and a USB output are available for direct recording. The T.S.I. circuit provides information about the condition of the power amp tubes and indicates when they need to be replaced.

Peavey Electronics – Powerful Tone Since 1965
Few names stand for uncompromising sound, innovation, and reliability in electric guitar amplification like Peavey Electronics. Founded in 1965 by 23-year-old Hartley Peavey in a garage in Meridian, Mississippi, the company grew within just a few decades into one of the world’s leading manufacturers of musical instruments and audio technology. From the beginning, the vision was clear: making professional gear affordable and accessible to all musicians – without sonic compromises.
Peavey has earned a permanent place in music history, especially in the world of guitar amps. With iconic models like the 6505® – originally developed with Eddie Van Halen as the "5150" – and the versatile Classic® 30, Peavey has shaped entire genres such as rock, hard rock, and metal. The combination of brutal high-gain tone, strong presence, and rugged construction makes Peavey amps a top choice for stage and studio alike.
Beyond legendary tube amps, Peavey also stands for innovation. Its proprietary TransTube® technology convincingly simulates the dynamics and feel of tube amps in the world of solid-state – ideal for anyone seeking maximum reliability with minimal maintenance. Models like the Bandit 112 have earned cult status among both beginners and seasoned players for decades.
Whether you're looking for a versatile combo for rehearsal and club gigs, a powerful tube head for big stages, or a dependable studio partner: Peavey delivers powerful tools for modern guitar tones – built with experience, passion, and a practical mindset.
