The Maton SRS808 consists of a solid blackwood body and a spruce top. The SRS808 is an absolutely stunning little guitar that combines the warm, full sound of blackwood with the clarity of the spruce top.
top Shifted Moving the X-bracing also allowed for the inclusion of a second, parallel beam that evenly distributes the load of the wood while reducing the overall mass of the guitar.
The new 808 series sounds much bigger than a small body guitar should.
The result of further development is a guitar that amazes the player when first picked up and then continues to impress as every aspect of the guitar's sound meets and exceeds the player's expectations.
