Beide verfügen über den populären Cutaway-Grand-Auditorium-Korpus, der für seine raffinierten Proportionen und seine vielseitige musikalische Persönlichkeit geliebt wird, sowie über eine Decke aus Mahagoni-Massivholz und Boden und Zargen aus afrikanischem Sapele.
Im Inneren sorgt die V-Class-Bracing-Architektur für mehr Volumen, Sustain und Intonation. Ein schlanker Taylor-Hals aus Ahorn sorgt für seidenweiche Spielbarkeit auf dem massiven Ebenholz-Griffbrett. Das Modell 14ce zeichnet sich durch eine klare visuelle Ästhetik aus, mit 4 mm großen Punkt-Inlays aus italienischem Acryl, einer einreihigen schwarzen Rosette, einem Schlagbrett aus Schildpattimitat, verchromten Stimmmechaniken und einem matten Finish. Sowohl die 14ce als auch die verwandte 24ce sind mit der Fishman Sonitone GT-2 Akustik-Elektronik mit einem im Schallloch montierten Vorverstärker mit Ton- und Lautstärkeregler ausgestattet. Die Gitarre wird in einem Taylor Gigbag geliefert.
