Handcrafted quality

The deck of this acoustic guitar is made from a Master Grade Sinker Redwood, known for its soft, resonant tone. The 5-piece mahogany/rosewood neck and ebony fretboard ensure comfortable playability.
A look at the headstock reveals African Blackwood, a particularly hard and dense wood that ensures optimal sound transmission. The Gotoh 510 Gold tuning machines with Ebony Button guarantee precise tuning, while the Abalone/Koa rosette and Koa binding provide visual accents. The rosewood bridge and bone saddle/cross piece inlay contribute to the excellent sound of this guitar.
With a 25.6" (650 mm) scale length and 6-string configuration , the Lowden F-50 offers perfected playability. The GL Standard Neck Profile and Dolphin Profile intonation contribute to improved sound quality and comfortable playability. About Lowden

At the age of 16, Northern Irishman George Lowden made his first attempts at building his own guitars. George, who began building guitars in his father's workshop and was a big fan of Jimi Hendrix and Eric Clapton, quickly blossomed into a creative and professional guitar maker, whose guitars with their curvy body shapes are famous and renowned far beyond the borders of Northern Ireland unique sound became known.
