Simply. Better. The Pa5X/Pa5X MUSIKANT with 61, 76 and 88 keys!

For the first time, a KORG entertainer flagship comes in three keyboard versions. All keyboards have aftertouch, the 88-key model also has a hammer action for the best piano playing feel. Unique and only in the Pa5X/Pa5X MUSIKANT : two completely independent players that can now play styles, midifiles and mp3 files - no matter the combination! This means it is now possible to mix two styles or even play them synchronously. New in this context is the “Smooth sound Transition” function , which ensures that no more notes or effects are cut off when switching or crossfading.

The KORG Pa5X/Pa5X MUSIKANT with its completely newly developed sound engine and user interface has a user interface that is easier and better to use:
logical color codes, large displays and buttons, photo-quality icons, clear graphics, thousands of inspiring sounds and vibrant styles for almost every music genre. Acoustic and electric pianos come from the KORG SV2 stage piano, synth sounds come from the NAUTILUS, wavestate, ARP2600, for example. A special round-robin function ensures ultra-authentic and lively drum sounds.

Compared to the Pa5X (international), the Pa5X MUSIKANT is the localized version for the German-speaking market and BeNeLux. It contains even more styles and sounds that were programmed and produced specifically for the local culture: acapella and party choirs, accordion and orchestra sounds and much more. In addition, operation is made easier by labels in language on the finish and in many menus .

The Pa5X keyboards are manufactured to a high quality with an elegant look, wooden side panels nestle against a sturdy aluminum housing. Real-time control is very easy thanks to the additional strip display , because the respective value or function of the switches and faders are always displayed directly. Loading processes are a thing of the past, all files and styles are available at the touch of a finger, regardless of the connected medium on which they are stored. An open storage structure allows virtually infinitely large user folders, which can fit as much as the up to 1TB SD memory card (optional) allows. This makes compiling data from different users child's play.

A powerful mixer with a built-in finalizer brings all styles and files to the same volume level. A large chord Sequenz library invites you to jam, the 8-inch, tiltable touch display in tablet quality shows all chords, lyrics and also (Midi file) notes in high resolution.

In addition to the microphone connection (combination socket), there is now a separate guitar input with its own gain . Up to four guitar effects can be saved as a preset and can be called up again for each titel in the songbook. A four-part harmonizer is also on board as well as a modern autopitch function. Service feature: a joystick screwed from the outside for easy replacement if damaged.

THE NEW OPERATING SYSTEM 1.2.0 FOR THE PA5X IS HERE!
The new update adds a variety of new features to the Professional Arranger Workstation. What should be highlighted is the import of the Pa4X SongBook and the programming and adaptation by styles directly on the device. In addition to styles adaptation by functions such as quantize, delete, copy and transpose, OS 1.2.0 also offers a new groove import function for audio slices. In addition, the new operating system, based on a completely new micro-SD encryption, offers the possibility of implementing additional third-party software

About Korg Pa5X

Die beliebte Entertainer-Reihe aus dem Hause Korg geht in die nächste Runde. Korg Pa5X INTERNATIONAL und MUSIKANT wurden überarbeitet und haben zum ersten Mal jeweils drei Tastaturversionen spendiert bekommen. Alle Modelle der Pa5X-Serie sind mit Aftertouch ausgestattet. Bei den Varianten mit 88 Tasten wurde für bestes Piano-Spielgefühl zusätzlich eine Hammermechanik verbaut.

Der Unterschied zwischen dem Pa5X MUSIKANT und dem Pa5X INTERNATIONAL liegt an der lokalisierten Version für den deutschsprachigen Markt und Benelux. Das Pa5X MUSIKANT enthält noch mehr Styles und Sound, die speziell für den hiesigen Kulturkreis programmiert und produziert wurden. Dazu gehören Acapella- und Party-Chöre, Akkordeon- und Orchestersounds u.v.m. Darüber hinaus wird die Bedienung auf der Oberfläche und in vielen Menüs zusätzlich durch Beschriftungen in deutscher Sprache erleichtert.

Der Clou an den neuen Entertainer-Keyboards sind allerdings zwei völlig voneinander unabhängige Player, die nun Styles, Midi-Files und MP3-Dateien abspielen können. Dabei ist es völlig egal wie sie miteinander kombiniert werden. Dieses neue Feature erlaubt es nun, zwei Styles zu mischen oder gar synchron abzuspielen. Ebenfalls neu ist in diesem Zusammenhang die „Smooth Sound Transition“. Sie sorgt dafür, dass beim Umschalten oder Überblenden keine Noten oder Effekte mehr abgeschnitten werden.

Die Sound-Engine sowohl der Korg Pa5X-INTERNATIONAL als auch der MUSIKANT-Modelle wurde ebenfalls komplett überarbeitet und überzeugt Dank verbesserter Bedienerführung über ein intuitives User-Interface. Umgesetzt wird das ganze durch logische Farbcodes, große Darstellungen und Schaltflächen, Icons in Fotoqualität, deutliche Grafiken, tausende inspirierende Sounds und lebendige Styles für nahezu jedes Genre. Die Pa5X-Serie ist mit den besten akustischen und elektrischen Klavier- und E-Piano-Sounds aus dem Korg SV2 Stage-Piano sowie den aufregendsten Synth-Sounds z.B. vom NAUTILUS, wavestate und ARP2600 bestückt. Gepaart mit der großen Akkord-Sequenz-Library laden die Keyboards zum Jammen ein. Darüber hinaus sorgt die spezielle Round-Robin-Funktion für ultra-authentische und lebendige Drum-Sounds.

Die Pa5X-Keyboards sind hochwertig verarbeitet und machen sowohl im Studio als auch auf der Bühne Dank Holzseitenteilen und einem stabilen Aluminiumgehäuse eine gute Figur. Durch das zusätzliche Strip-Display, welches die Modelle spendiert bekommen haben, ist die Echtzeitkontrolle kinderleicht. Der jeweilige Wert bzw. die Funktion der Schalter und Fader wird immer direkt angezeigt und lässt sich auch im schummrigen Bühnenlicht gut ablesen. Zudem werden über das 8 Zoll große, neigbare Touch-Display in Tablet-Qualität alle Akkorde, Texte und auch (Midi-File-)Noten in hochauflösender Darstellung abgebildet. Alle Files und Styles sind auf Fingertipp verfügbar, ganz egal von welchem angeschlossenen Medium diese geladen werden. Lange Ladezeiten gehören Dank einer offenen Speicherstruktur der Pa5X-Serie der Vergangenheit an, sie gestattet es sogar (fast) unendlich große User-Ordner auf der bis zu 1 TB großen Speicherkarte (optional) anzulegen.

Unter der Aluminiumhaube der Entertainer-Reihe verbirgt sich ein leistungsstarker Mixer mit eingebautem Finalizer, der alle Styles und Files auf ein gleiches Lautstärke-Niveau auspegelt. Zu dem Mikrofonanschluss (Kombi-Buchse) auf der Rückseite, gesellt sich noch ein separater Gitarreneingang mit eigenem Gain. Im integrierten Songbook, lassen sich je Titel bis zu vier Gitarreneffekt als Preset abspeichern und aufrufen. Abgerundet wird die Ausstattung der Pa5X-Serie durch einen vierstimmigen Harmonizer sowie eine moderne Autopitch-Funktion, die den Entertainer und seinen Gesang jederzeit ins rechte Licht rücken.
