Der britische Fusion Gitarrist Tom Quayle hat von Ibanez ein schickes Signaturemodell auf Basis der angesagten AZ Serie spendiert bekommen. Die TQM2-CU ist eine zeitgemäße Variante des klassischen ST-Models mit HSS Bestückung. Der Erlenbody ist mit einer Ahorndecke kombiniert, der einteilige Hals besteht aus Roasted Maple - einem hitzebehandelten Ahornholz mit der Stabilität und den Klangeigenschaften von sehr altem Tonholz und einem Palisander Griffbrett. Die Hardware kommt vom japanischen Hardware Spezialist Gotoh: Magnum Locking Mechaniken und das in Zusammenarbeit mit Ibanez entstandene T1702 Tremolo. In Sachen Elektrik kann die TQM2-CU auch überzeugen: ein HSS Set Ibanez TQM Pickups sorgt in Verbindung mit der Dyna Mix Schaltung für vielseitige Soundmöglichkeiten.
