The Ibanez PGMM11-JB is the smallest of Paul Gilbert's signature models. Due to its smaller size and short scale length , the Ibanez PGMM11-JB is also suitable for children. The body of the PGMM11-JB is made of basswood with a sturdy, screw-on maple neck with Jatoba fretboard. Jatoba has a reddish-brown color / finish and produces a rich midrange with crisp highs, while the bass range is perfectly served by the basswood body. Two humbuckers are responsible for the amplified sound : The Ibanez Infinity pickup deliver a precise and tight sound with excellent dynamics. Even under severe distortion, they do not lose tonal clarity. The in-house F106 bridge improves sustain and the string height can be adjusted easily and independently.
