ESP was founded in 1975 as a small repair shop in Tokyo, but it wasn't until the mid-80s that its guitars and basses began to attract the attention of guitarists around the world. The Horizon Custom '87 takes the amazing archtop body of the ESP Horizon and presents it exactly as it was found in the late '80s and early '90s - minimalistically equipped and built for shredding!
All guitars from the ESP LTD '87 series have an alder body, a three-piece maple neck with a rare Macassar ebony fretboard and an extra thin U profile and are also equipped with high-quality Seymour Duncan pickups. Using the push/pull tone pot, the humbuckers can be split into single coils, giving you access to a variety of new sounds .
