The Dingwall company turns 35!

To celebrate the company's anniversary, Dingwall presents the 35th Anniversary Pedal

Behind it is a distortion bass pedal that is limited to 250 copies across Europe. The 35th Anniversary pedal was made in Finland and in collaboration with Darkglass . The extremely robust distortion pedal impresses with a stylish black and gold design and - as is usual with Darkglass pedals - with a true bypass circuit. The design of the user interface is simple. In addition to the on/off switch, there are only drive, level and tone controls on the stompbox pedal. Which in turn makes it very easy to operation, especially in hectic everyday life on stage.

The distortion pedal for electric bass delivers particularly impressive high- gain sounds, but during development it was also important to ensure that it reacts effectively and sensitively to the dynamics of the bass playing even at lower and classic drive levels.

Sheldon Dingwall says:

"Here we've created a mix of nostalgic flair, attractive design and modern production methods to create a pedal that's far more versatile than you might imagine. It's truly designed to capture the dynamic interaction between you and your bass. There's a lot of wiggle room before the crunch really kicks in."

The 35th Anniversary pedal offers a wide range of tonal possibilities - from subtly distorted blues tones to classic rock and metal. It is already considered the perfect effects pedal for Dingwall lovers who are looking for a dark, hissing and brutal sound and at the same time a pedal with high collector value and future potential.

About Dingwall

Dingwall

Would you like to buy a bass with more than the usual four strings or are you looking for a more unusually constructed instrument? Then the bass guitars from the Canadian manufacturer Dingwall Designer Guitars are definitely worth a look.

A special features of these basses is the use of the fanned-frets construction (fanned frets). The frets are embedded in the fretboard in such a way that the scale length of the low strings is longer than that of the high ones. This means that the low strings gain more sustain and the tone is more “accurate”.

In addition, Dingwall has specialized in the production of 5 and even 6-string basses, making them an absolute must for fans of extended range instruments.

In addition to absolute high-end basses such as the Dingwall Afterburner or the Dingwall D-Roc, you will also find many models from the inexpensive Combustion series . Here, North American wood and components are sent to China for assembly and further processing. The final adjustment and inspection is then carried out again at Dingwall headquarters in Saskatoon, Canada.

Due to the different length scales, special strings are also required, which are also manufactured by Dingwall . If you are now curious about the multiscale electric basses , we warmly invite you to test them out and take them with you to our branches in Frankfurt and Walldorf. Of course, you can also conveniently order the instruments and electric bass strings for your home directly here in the web shop.
