About Tim Henson
In 2011 Tim Henson founded together with his co-guitarist Scott LePage, bassist Clay Gober, drummer Brandon Burkhalter and singer Lane Duskin the band Polyphia. Still in the same year the group released their debut EP Resurrect. One year later singer Lane Duskin left the band and Polyphia continued as an instrumental band. From the beginning Tim's inventiveness and his distinctive playing technique have been a cornerstone of the Polyphia sound. After another EP the band released their debut album Muse in 2014 with the help of crowdfunding. Polyphia were subsequently signed to Equal Vision Records and re-released the debut album in 2015. In the autumn of 2015 the band initially toured the US with Invent, Animate and headliner Erra. In 2022 the band released their fourth studio album Remember That You Will Die, featuring various guest musicians such as Steve Vai. The album peaked at No. 33 on the US album charts.

The online magazine Loudwire placed Remember That You Will Die on its list of the 50 best rock and metal albums of 2022 and named Playing God Song of the Year 2022. The band was nominated for three Heavy Music Awards.
