The heads of the Remo Emperor - Tom Pack - Coated - 10-12-14 inches are significantly more durable and sound significantly warmer than the transparent Emperor models. The heads consist of two layers of 7-mil Mylar film, which produce a very warm and consistent tone and are therefore ideal for use in the studio.
