Pioneer DJ DJM-V10

With the new DJM-V10 it is particularly easy to create your own unique sound . The DJM-V10 is not only based on a completely new concept, but is also a completely new type of mixer. Creative DJs can use it to easily create unique sound worlds. The mix center with six channels not only impresses with its warm and energetic sound with a lot of presence, but also offers unique functions. With the DJM-V10, DJs take full control of the mix and can create something creative that the crowd has never heard before.

In addition to CDJs, turntables and other devices with line signals can be connection to the six channels of the DJM-V10. With the help of the specially developed 4-band EQs, the sound can be adapted to your own wishes. Treble and bass can be completely hidden, for example to create a mix with only the two midbands - with their own curve. The brand new filter works as a high or low pass filter and can be perfectly controlled using a controls in the respective channel. If you turn the controls from left to right, the sound changes and gives every track a special kick.

The DJM-V10's expanded send/return section opens up completely new creative possibilities. Audio signals can be sent to one of the four integrated FX and also to two external effects devices. If you connect effects devices, guitar effect pedals or other devices to the mixer, you can create a completely individual setup in no time, which opens up completely new performances possibilities. The effect signals can either be fed back directly into the respective channel or into the master output. If you feed the effect signal back to a separate channel, it can be further processed with EQ and filter . Anyone who connects a smartphone via MULTI I/O can even integrate selected smartphone apps into their performance.

Every detail of the DJM-V10 has been developed with the utmost care and the aim of achieving the best possible sound . The new mixer gives DJs a tool with which they can shape their sound according to their own wishes. Signals that have been processed with the six channels and FX can then be further modified using the 3-band master isolator in the master output. Whether drastic intervention in the sound or final fine-tuning for the mix, everything is possible with this powerful tool. Anyone who wants to play older tracks together with currently mastered tracks will love the compressor . This is the first time a compressor of this type has been found in a Pioneer DJ mixer. Tracks that previously could not be mixed together due to their different loudness can now be easily used together. As soon as the compressor is activated in the selected channel, its loudness is increased, creating a balanced and natural-sounding overall mix. Beat FX, including the brand new Shimmer, give tracks more depth and harmony.

With the new booth EQ, the monitor sound can be easily adjusted to your own wishes. Thanks to double headphone outputs - each with its own monitor channel and level control - DJ handovers and joint performances with other DJs are extremely comfortable and without any loss of headphones sound.

Outstanding sound quality
The DJM-V10 delivers a warm and natural sound that contains every nuance of the music. 96-kHz/64-bit mixing and dithering in the DSP, low-jitter clock and high-quality 32-bit A/D and D/A converter ensure true studio quality. This guarantees a rich bass range, lively mids and precise treble reproduction.

Six channels
Six channels offer enough options to put together your setup individually and flexibly. In addition to connections for CDJs and turntables, samplers, synths and drum machines can also be connected to the DJM-V10. The analogue inputs of each channel are located directly on the top of the device, so that wiring works without any problems - even in a dark DJ booth.

4-band EQ
With the newly developed 4-band EQ, the sound can be designed according to your own wishes. The frequencies, curves, boost and cut areas for each band have been specifically designed for maximum flexibility. The highs and/or lows can be completely isolated, the two midranges have their own curves for perfect control over every detail in the mix.

New filter with dedicated controls in each channel
The newly developed filter with resonance control opens up a wide range of sounds: from slight fine-tuning to drastic interventions, everything is possible. By pressing a button you select the operating mode - high or low pass filter - and use the controls to determine the filter proportion: from all the way to the left (no filter in the signal path) to the extreme right position (maximum filter in the signal path). Since the high and low pass are separated, the entire controls range is available to the respective filter . The double resolution (compared to the filter of the DJM-900NXS2) results in much more nuanced control behavior.

Send/Return section
The sends can be used to send audio signals to one of the four internal FX or to up to two external effect devices to create unique sound and live remixes. The stereo jack connections offer guitar effect pedals, effects devices or other equipment connection .

Short delay, Long delay, Dub echo and reverb are available as integrated FX . The effects can be adapted to your own wishes using various parameter controls:

• Size/Feedback: changes the room size when a reverb is used. For the delay and echo FX, the feedback portion is controlled.
• Time: Adjusts the decay time of the reverb and the delay time for delays and echoes.
• Tone: changes the timbre of the effect sounds from deep and heavy to light and crisp.
• Master Mix level: works as the overall volume for the effected sound when Master Mix is ​​on.

Regardless of whether you use external effect devices or the built-in FX , with the DJM-V10 you have the choice of how the effect signals get back into the mixer. The FX signals can either be routed via a free channel so that the effects can be further processed with EQ and filter , or they can go directly into the master mix and from there to the master output.

3-band master isolator
Thanks to the 3-band master isolator, you can easily keep the entire mix under control. In addition to new boost/cut curves and adjustable crossover frequencies, it offers other parameters that can be easily changed using the large controls. If desired, this ensures drastic sound changes that will delight any crowd.

compressor in each channel
Anyone who wants to play older or unmastered tracks no longer has to worry about them getting lost in today's music, which is mixed particularly loudly due to current production methods. The DJM-V10 has the right solution for exactly this: There is a compressor switches in each channel. If this is pressed, the signal is compressed in real time. The quieter a track is, the stronger the effect. This ensures that loud and already mastered music remains unaffected, but quiet tracks get the punch they need.

Dual headphones outputs and booth EQ
The DJM-V10 allows you to connect two headphones at the same time, for example to mix with another DJ and still use independent monitoring signals. Each headphone output has its own cue/master mix and volume controls. This is perfect for setting your own monitor sound during DJ handovers or joint performances . In addition, the sound of the monitor speakers can be influenced using the booth EQ to avoid ear fatigue during long sets.
