Product information
The Neumann KMS 104 microphone has excellent sound properties and was specially developed for optimal sound transmission of the human voice. The focus is on the special conditions and requirements of live stage operations. What particularly stands out is the color-free crosstalk behavior and the low inherent noise, making the microphone ideal for use with in-ear-monitoring systems. The KMS 104 has a studio condenser microphone capsule with a cardioid characteristic which enables the best possible suppression of rear sound. In order to meet the high requirements, the microphone has a particularly high acoustic transparency, a wide frequency range and a fine resolution of the transients. The microphone also has a fixed high pass with a cutoff frequency of 120 Hz, with a dynamic range of 132 dB. Since the microphone is designed for live operation, it is made of a particularly robust, thick-walled metal housing, which also offers effective protection against handling noise. The microphone basket is made of hardened steel and can easily be unscrewed if necessary. Neumann KMS 104:
