The M1 is a patented humbucking pickup with a special features. With a traditional stacked humbucker, the bottom coil suppresses the hum, but does not contribute anything positive to the sound . We unlock the lower coil with a carefully tuned hook that allows it to capture higher frequency resonances. As the pickup moves with the top of the guitar, a body signal is created in the suspended coil, adding presence and fidelity to the amplified sound .
The M1 Active's plug-and-play design features a high-quality preamplifier. Built-in electronics amplify the pickup's output for a clear and direct signal to any acoustic amplifier or PA system, eliminating the need for external preamps. The M1 Active features a volume control and adjustable polepices for perfect balancing and sound between strings.
