The Lowden WL-25 is a real masterpiece in terms of craftsmanship and material quality. It is solidly constructed and consists of a red cedar top and East Indian Rosewood back / sides . This material duo is known for its excellent resonance and warm timbre. There is also a 5-piece neck made of mahogany and rosewood, which in combination with the ebony fretboard ensures pleasant playability and excellent sound transmission.
The guitar impresses with its elegant design and attention to detail. The headstock is made of 5 pieces from mahogany and rosewood and proudly bears the Lowden logo. The tuning machines are Gotoh 381 Gold with ebony buttons, which not only shine visually, but also enable precise tuning . The rosette is made of grained wood and, together with the binding made of maple, rocklite and mahogany, forms a beautiful frame for the top.

At the age of 16, Northern Irishman George Lowden made his first attempts at building his own guitars.
