As the successor to the CA59, the CA501 retains the popular Grand Feel Compact keyboard, but gets the new Shigeru Kawai EX Competition Grand Piano sound with Harmonic Imaging XL technology. The grand piano used for sampling is a unique piece that is used exclusively in international piano competitions and was specially prepared for this purpose. This new reproduction of the Shigeru Kawai flagship piano was recorded from the player's position and features a brilliant, clear sound with an expressive attack.
The speaker system of the CA501 has been completely revised compared to its predecessor and equipped with additional 360° diffusers for the top loudspeaker . The result is a spatial sound that allows the new SK-EX Competition Grand sound to be experienced even better. The new PS242 mains adapter also ensures particularly stable power, thus optimally supporting the work of the amplifier in all situations and ensuring a clearer sound.
Also new is the integration of the latest bluetooth Generation 5 for bluetooth audio and bluetooth midi for lower latency, more stable connections and better sound quality.
The CA501 features a new intuitive control panel design and an easy-to-read OLED display.
The enclosure design has also undergone some innovations. What should be highlighted here are the pedals that are moved back for an ergonomic, comfortable position and the new music holder pins.
