The JBL PRX912 is part of the PRX900 series of powered speakers and subwoofers. The series raises professional mobile PA systems to a new level with modern acoustic features, extensive DSP, unrivalled power and ruggedness, plus full Bluetooth control via the JBL Pro Connect app. The PRX900 series is a versatile solution for professional DJs, bands, clubs and rental companies — or anyone who needs durable, professional systems that deliver powerful sound in any mobile or fixed application.
The active 12" two-way speaker has been developed from the ground up to take advantage of JBL's latest acoustic innovations. A next-generation driver system driven by an ultra-efficient Class-D amplifier delivers clarity and definition at maximum volume, with improved dispersion and extended low-frequency performance.
The extensive DSP, controlled via an integrated colour display or the JBL Pro Connect app, features a parametric 12-band EQ for system tuning and detailed tonal control. Integrated dbx DriveRack technology includes automatic feedback suppression (live and fix), a limiter with Soundcraft Overeasy circuit, plus delay and various presets.
The JBL Pro Connect app offers full hardware and DSP control of up to ten speakers. PRX900 models can be integrated into projects with other JBL speakers such as JBL EON ONE MK2, PRX ONE and EON700, with exclusive features like snapshots and grouping.
The system is designed for the rigours of the road. The composite enclosure features computer‑calculated internal bracing to increase cabinet stiffness, improving acoustic performance and durability. As with every JBL product, everything undergoes extensive testing and is backed by a seven-year warranty.
