On this occasion Fender is releasing a number of limited 75th Anniversary models. From the Ultra II series comes the 75th Anniversary Telecaster - alder body, quartersawn maple neck with ebony fretboard, 75th Anniversary Custom Lap Steel inlays, string‑through bridge with block brass saddles, locking tuners, an Ultra Noiseless Tele single‑coil at the neck and a Fast Lane Blade Mini‑humbucker at the bridge. The super‑cool Liquid Gold finish makes the guitar a real eye‑catcher.

Since its launch, Fender's American Ultra series has stood for the most modern and highest-quality electric guitars and basses outside the Custom Shop. With the American Ultra II, the next generation of Fender's high-end instruments is now ready. It retains many specs of the old Ultra while also impressing with new features and appointments. To make a Fender instrument available to everyone, they are offered in different price ranges. The subsidiary Squier sells affordable, Far East-made models built to original specifications with Fender know-how in the background.
