About Eastman Truetone Gloss

The instruments in the Eastman Truetone Gloss series offer everything the ambitious electric guitarist is looking for: excellent playability, excellent workmanship, a balanced sound and an unbeatable price-performance ratio.

The range within the Truetone Gloss series is very versatile. There are solid, hollow and semi-hollow guitars as well as a large selection of jazz models . Studio guitarists will certainly be pleased with the solidly constructed TX hollow bodies. In addition to the more classic-looking T and SB models, Eastman also tries out its own designs : the hollow-body model Romeo and the solid-body counterpart Juliet impress with their excellent equipment and ergonomics . The modern body shapes, which are only available from Eastman , were designed by Otto D'Ambrosio and Pepijn t'Hart.

All instruments in the series are equipped with high-quality pickups from Bare Knuckle and Seymour Duncan , and high-quality CTS potentiometers provide tone and volume control. The main body wood used is mahogany and okoume , and some guitars also have striking maple tops . The necks are usually made of mahogany or maple , and ebony fingerboards are standard at Eastman. The classic finish and the beautiful burst finishes that are offered on the SB and T models are also a special eye- catcher . Of course, these look particularly good on flamed ceilings. All instruments are of course painted with the in-house Truetone Gloss finish .

Every guitar in the Truetone Gloss series is delivered by Eastman in a sturdy wooden case complete with a certificate of authenticity .

About Eastman

The guitar manufacturer Eastman Guitars has its origins in the company Eastman Strings. Eastman Strings was founded in 1992 by Qian Ni from Beijing and originally started with the handcrafted production of high-quality violins, violas, cellos and basses. Since traditional craftsmanship and the resulting instruments are still highly valued today, the manufactory quickly expanded its range to include acoustic, semi-acoustic and fully solid guitars .

These are created with the same craftsmanship and precise workmanship as the string instruments, which definitely makes the semi-acoustic models an absolute recommendation for all jazz and blues guitarists who are looking for a new instrument . The semi-acoustic guitars are available in thinline , archtop and even signature archtop model . Depending on your preference, you can then choose between All Solid Carved, Solid Carved Top and Laminate models .

The situation is similar with the high-quality solid-body guitars in the LP style. These are also divided into three levels. A distinction is made here between guitars with Antique Varnish, Truetone Gloss and Truetone Vintage Gloss finishes , whereby the Antique Varnish finish is based on violin making and ensures a full, open and resonant sound .

Fans of the acoustic guitar group can look forward to the largest selection from Eastman Guitars .

In addition to the many different guitar shapes such as Dreadnought, Grand Auditorium, Orchestra and Jumbo or OO, Parlor, Travel and other exotic ones such as Cabaret and Gypsy Jazz , the West guitars also differ in their processing levels and finishes. The most popular here include the Traditional, AC and Antique Varnish series .

No matter which instrument you ultimately choose from the guitar manufacturer Eastman Guitars , you will receive a high-quality piece of craftsmanship that is made from fine wood and impresses with an excellent sound .
