About Eastman Traditional

For the instruments in the Traditional series , Eastman has based itself on well-known and proven models from renowned brands and manufacturers. The guitars are not copies, but each have their own personal sound and a timeless, classic look .

There are no limits to the choice within the series . The Traditional series offers many different body shapes , from the dreadnought to OM and 00 models to parlor guitars. The top wood is usually Sitka or Adirondack spruce , the choice of body wood ranges from sapele and ovangkol in the cheaper models to exclusive tropical woods such as Madagascar rosewood or mahogany . Every instrument in the Traditional series is constructed of solid solid material .

The Thermo-Cure process was also used for instruments with the suffix TC in the name. During this process, the top of the guitar is heat-treated , which further improves the sound of these already high-quality guitars. Thanks to the Thermo-Cure treatment, the sound of the guitar appears to be well -rehearsed when you buy it, as if it had been played for years. Another eye-catcher is the Eastmans Classic finish , which is also used on guitars from other series.

Depending on the price range, the guitars in the Traditional series are delivered with a soft case or Vintage case . The cases in particular match the traditional look of the instruments perfectly.

About Eastman

The guitar manufacturer Eastman Guitars has its origins in the company Eastman Strings. Eastman Strings was founded in 1992 by Qian Ni from Beijing and originally started with the handcrafted production of high-quality violins, violas, cellos and basses. Since traditional craftsmanship and the resulting instruments are still highly valued today, the manufactory quickly expanded its range to include acoustic, semi-acoustic and fully solid guitars .

These are created with the same craftsmanship and precise workmanship as the string instruments, which definitely makes the semi-acoustic models an absolute recommendation for all jazz and blues guitarists who are looking for a new instrument . The semi-acoustic guitars are available in thinline , archtop and even signature archtop model . Depending on your preference, you can then choose between All Solid Carved, Solid Carved Top and Laminate models .

The situation is similar with the high-quality solid-body guitars in the LP style. These are also divided into three levels. A distinction is made here between guitars with Antique Varnish, Truetone Gloss and Truetone Vintage Gloss finishes , whereby the Antique Varnish finish is based on violin making and ensures a full, open and resonant sound .

Fans of the acoustic guitar group can look forward to the largest selection from Eastman Guitars .

In addition to the many different guitar shapes such as Dreadnought, Grand Auditorium, Orchestra and Jumbo or OO, Parlor, Travel and other exotic ones such as Cabaret and Gypsy Jazz , the West guitars also differ in their processing levels and finishes. The most popular here include the Traditional, AC and Antique Varnish series .

No matter which instrument you ultimately choose from the guitar manufacturer Eastman Guitars , you will receive a high-quality piece of craftsmanship that is made from fine wood and impresses with an excellent sound .
