What is green and has already been found on countless pedalboards? No, not Kermit the clamp but the legendary green overdrive pedal from Japan. With the Plumes, Earthquaker Devices has presented their interpretation of this classic. The circuit has been fundamentally revised - instead of the usual JRC 4558 OP amps, the Plumes JFET OP amps work, which guarantee low background noise and a significantly increased headroom. The buffered bypass of the original is also replaced by a Relay Soft Touch true bypass . There are 3 clipping modes available: asymetrical clipping - classic crunch overdrive, Mode 2 - clean boost and Mode 3 - symmetrical clipping delivers classic TS sound. The footswitch can also be configured from a momentary button - the effect is only active when the button is held down.
