One controls, many possibilities. The Acapulco Gold is a “one-knob power amp distortion box” that emulates the power amp distortion of a Vintage Sunn Model T amplifier. The Acapulco Gold interacts perfectly with the guitar's volume and tone pots and clears up a bit when turned back. If you want to boost your tube amp in addition to the “Sunn Model T-Kick”, the Acapulco Gold is the right choice. First and foremost, however, the pedal produces heavy distortion, almost fuzz-like, and can produce a lot of levels! The pedal reacts very dynamically to the way you play. The Acapulco Gold features true bypass and is handcrafted in Akron, Ohio and the USA. The Acapulco Gold V2 features a silent, relay-based soft-touch footswitch.
