The Nord Keyboard Stand EX is a lightweight keyboard stand, specifically designed for maximum stability and a comfortable feel while playing. The legs are attached to the baseplate of the instrument so that it is protected from slipping on the stand , as is the case with conventional tripods. Clavia is a Swedish electronic musical instrument manufacturer based in Stockholm, founded in 1983 by Hans Nordelius. After initially producing drum machine and electronic drum sets , Clavia has relied on keyboard instruments such as stage pianos and synthesizers since the release of the Nord Lead in 1995. Clavia instruments are valued not only for their sound quality, but also for their solid workmanship and long model maintenance.
The Nord Lead and Nord Wave are virtual analog synthesizers, the latter being sample-based .
