The Katana-110 Bass uses the same groundbreaking design philosophy as the renowned Katana guitar amplifiers and delivers high-quality sound and modern features, perfectly tailored to the needs of ambitious bass players. With three unique amplifier characters and the internal BOSS effects, many different sounds can be implemented, supported by a live-ready 60 watt Class-AB amplifier, a 10'' custom woofer and a tweeter with on/off switches. The extensive EQ, many connection options and more ensure that the Katana-110 Bass impresses in every application - on the live stage, in the studio or when practicing at home.

The Katana-110 Bass delivers high-performance amplification based on BOSS' decades of experience and expertise. Equipped with 60 watts of power from a proven Class AB amplifier, the stage-ready amplifier impresses with its enormous volume, lots of punch and assertiveness as well as a consistent, natural drive the more you turn up the gain . Three preamp types are available - each with a powerful, three-stage shape switches for fine-tuning the sound - so you can always find the perfect sound for all playing styles and genres.
Vintage — A classic tube sound with an organic sound and natural drive.
Flat — A smooth, clear and dynamic sound with a full overtone spectrum.
Modern — Fast and dynamic response with an extended bass frequency range.

Dominate the stage
With its custom speaker system and sturdy combo housing, the Katana-110 Bass produces an impressive sound that you can use to drive your band forward in any situation. The powerful sound foundation from the 10'' woofer is complemented by a tweeter for defined heights that perfectly reproduce slapping techniques and modern playing techniques. In this way, the efficient bi-amping design ensures clear and balanced sound. If you prefer a traditional bass sound , you can deactivate the tweeter if necessary using a switches on the control panel.

Four independent effects sections
The Katana series is known for its integrated BOSS effects . The Katana-110 Bass is no exception. While the standalone compressor/limiter and drive sections handle the basic sound, FX1 and FX2 offer a variety of options from the BOSS Bass effects library - from standards like chorus and flanger to octave, bass synthesizer and more. The FX2 section also offers a delay and reverb effect. The BOSS Tone Studio Editor also offers you more than 60 effect types.

Precision tools for sound processing
With the intuitive interface of the Katana-110 Bass, you can optimize your sound quickly and easily. The blend section, inspired by studio operations, allows you to mix effect and dry signals. The latter can also be shaped in advance using three individually adjustable settings to ensure an optimal sound connection. A comprehensive 4-band EQ is also available, including three selectable frequencies in the low and high midbands.

Versatile performance
With its flexibility, the Katana-110 Bass is the ideal partner for any live gig. The six tone setting presets allow you to save and recall your own sounds , including preamp type, EQ, blend and effect settings. The presets can be changed either on the amplifier or via an optional footswitch, an expression pedal and the GA-FC foot controllers . An XLR output is also available for connection to a PA. The signal pickup can be switched between direct, pre and post using a switches .

Workhorse for recording and practicing
The Katana-110 bass is equally suitable for studio recording and playing at home. With its compact dimensions , it takes up little space, while the variable power control allows you to enjoy fully controlled sounds even at room volume. The headphones/recording direct output outputs a signal with effects, microphoned loudspeaker emulation and three air feel settings. You can also record directly into a DAW via the usb-port .

Full control with BOSS Tone Studio
To control your sounds in even more detail, you can delve deeper into the heart of the Katana-110 Bass with the BOSS Tone Studio Editor. Adjust preamp, EQ and blend settings, choose from up to 60 BOSS effects and organize your sounds into live sets for different gigs. You can also use the global EQ to adjust the overall sound of the amplifier to your needs and fine-tune system parameters such as Air Feel, USB and more. By connecting the optional BOSS bluetooth® Audio midi Dual adapter to the back of the amplifier, you can edit settings wirelessly via an iOS or Android device.
