The complete package - an e-drum set

Many electronic drum kits are offered as a set. If you want to buy such a set, you can choose from a variety of different model variants and sizes. In addition to well-known names like Roland and Yamaha , Alesis and other manufacturers offer such sets.

Sound modules for e-drums

Once you have set up the rack and pads for the electronic drum set, the module for sound generation is still missing. The cable from the various pads are connected here. Depending on the equipment , you can choose between prefabricated sound sets or in-depth sound editing. All e-drum sets are delivered with such a sound module.

Differences in snare pads

As with the acoustic snare drum, there are different sizes. Snare pad heads are available as a normal or mesh head type . Simple snare models have two zone trigger for the playing surface and rim. The large V- pad variant from the Roland V-Drums series even comes with a real shell.
