The STELLAR.45 transducer, developed in Heilbronn and manufactured on site, delivers the proven beyerdynamic sound with previously unattainable performance in the studio headphone class. This is due to a powerful neodymium magnet and a voice coil made from copper-plated high-tech wire. The trade-off between conductivity and the wire's weight is unique. In combination with the newly developed three-layer diaphragm with integrated damping layer, this creates a highly efficient driver system that performs on all playback devices.
The innovative diaphragm structure controls the axial movement of the voice coil and ensures that it remains securely positioned in the magnetic gap even at high excursions. Another advantage is the wide and natural frequency response. The driver's fast response and detailed transient reproduction, enabled by the low coil weight, ensure reliable, distortion-free sound even at high sound pressure levels.

Whether at an interface, laptop, tablet or phone: with 48 ohms the PRO X headphones reproduce sound in familiar studio quality loudly and with punch thanks to our new high-performance STELLAR.45 driver – on all playback devices. The cable concept also proves practical for everyday use: the detachable mini-XLR cable can be swapped out and replaced with cables of different lengths or other connector options.
High wearing comfort
The new PRO X series also embodies what our professional headphones have always stood for: maximum wearing comfort.
The robust spring-steel headband construction gives the over-ear headphones a secure fit and ensures durability. The soft velour ear pads are comfortably snug and ensure comfortable air circulation. The headband adapts ergonomically to the head shape thanks to soft memory foam and, like the ear pads, can be replaced if required.
Construction and materials

In the design and materials used for the PRO X series, all components were chosen for maximum durability: metal headband, glass-fibre reinforced plastic parts, a robust mini-XLR connector and resilient cables. That way you're equipped for any professional application in everyday life.
Sustainability
The headphones of the new PRO X series are designed for daily use under demanding conditions. That is why they are handmade in Germany from high-quality materials. If necessary, almost all parts of the headphones can be replaced. They are therefore a sensible investment for any creator.
