With the new guitars from the SE Silver Sky series PRS is already releasing something very special for its loyal guitar fans at the start of the year. The guitars from the range renowned for their outstanding price-to-performance ratio PRS SE series benefit from the concentrated know-how of PRS, a company mainly known for its hand-crafted high-end instruments.

The electric guitars in the SE Silver Sky series are based on the much-discussed yet beloved model that was developed in collaboration with John Mayer and first introduced in 2018. A poplar body and a bolt-on maple neck with a rosewood fretboard and Bird-Inlays form the foundation of the new Special Edition.

To get as close as possible to John Mayer's playing feel, the neck features 22 frets, a 25.5-inch scale length and a 635JM neck profile. John Mayer's favourite neck profile! For a contemporary output the PRS SE Silver Sky series has been equipped with three 635JM "S" single-coils, a 5-way switch and volume and tone controls. As the cherry on top and to round off the specification properly, the neck plate with John Mayer's signature has been added.

Now you just have to decide: the electric guitars are available in the colours Dragon Fruit, Stone Blue, Moon White and Ever Green. And as befits true workhorses, they come in a padded Gig Bag.
