Anyone who has ever looked into the company history of Markbass will know that the now 58-year-old company founder Marco Di Virgillis caused a sensation at the beginning of 2000 and broke new ground with his innovative bass equipment. By using the most modern technologies, he not only improved the sound and saved weight , but also made handling more comfortable.

Now Marco Di Virgiliis wants to know it again and presents (again) a revolution in the bass range . All products in the MB58R series are Made in Italy and made from 100% recycled materials ! During production, care was taken to ensure that all parts and components come from local production and environmentally friendly sources .

It's hard to believe, but the weight of the MB58R series has also been reduced again . This is particularly noticeable when lifting the loudspeakers. The enclosure was made from a new plastic that is not only 100% recyclable, but also ensures a very direct response and a weight reduction that was previously not thought possible. It should also be mentioned that the enclosure of the MB58R series are covered with felt , which ensures a secure stand and prevents slipping when loading tops or effects pedals. Not astronaut technology, but we think it's an important feature.

The new ultra-lightweight electric bass speakers are each available in three versions :

• ENERGY: Neodymium loudspeaker + 1" tweeter driver
• P: classic ceramic loudspeaker (for a more traditional sound) + piezo tweeter
• PURE: Neodymium loudspeaker + new HiFi tweeter
