Korg Nautilus Music Workstation
Nautilus is the new Music Workstation from the house of Korg. Thanks to the tidy user interface, you get an excellent overview of all areas, quick access to outstanding sounds and a continuous workflow. Via the 7-inch TouchView colour display with 800x480 pixels, sounds can be selected with ease and all important parameters adjusted. The search and audition function in the Nautilus makes it easier for you to find your desired sound in the library. Favourite sounds can be marked as favourites. In addition, six freely programmable quick-access buttons can be assigned to specific menus or frequently used functions.

The Korg Nautilus Workstation series is available in three variants. You can choose models with 61 or 73 lightly weighted keys, and of course the flagship of the series. The 88-key Nautilus model is fitted with the top-spec, four-level graded RH3 hammer-action keybed and elegant wooden side panels. All models make a visual statement and are real eye-catchers on any stage or in any studio.
Under the hood, the advanced processor generation of KRONOS technology delivers serious power. The nine sound engines provide additional sounds and extended functions for outstanding tone.
All sounds in the Nautilus Workstation are organised into three main categories. You can choose between unique, contemporary and standard sounds.
Once you've found your sound, you can — as befits a full-featured workstation — of course edit it with a wide range of options. 16 effect processors, a 3-band EQ and retractable real-time and dynamics controls are quickly and intuitively accessible. At any time you have a polyphonic arpeggiator with over 1,500 presets, a Drum Track with over 1,200 patterns and a programmable step sequencer available in your creative process. The Nautilus lets you configure all settings for live use, save them and recall them later via the Set List mode. An important feature when selecting sounds is the Smooth Sound Transitions (SST) function. This prevents dropouts when switching sounds regardless of mode: sounds are no longer cut off but fade out naturally.
In addition to the usual MIDI and audio connection options on the rear of each workstation, standard USB controllers can be connected to the Nautilus. For example, drum parts can be recorded using controllers such as the nanoPAD2.
